Digital Murder: Virtual Husband "Killed"

In another bizarre episode in virtual worlds, the Associated Press reports, "A 43-year-old Japanese piano teacher's sudden divorce from her online husband in a virtual game world made her so angry that she logged on and killed his digital persona."

There are so many strange things in the report that I don't know where to begin. The surreal and the virtual have become one. A digital Salvador Dali would be proud, while I find such episodes symptomatic of the deterioration of our humanity.
