Forget Doomsday, the TVpocalypse is Near!

As I wrote in an earlier post, unless the government intervenes, February 17, 2009 will mark the day millions of televisions will go blank, unable to receive digital signals.

I'm referring to television's very own doomsday as TVpocalypse.

I plan to celebrate TVpocalypse on February 17 by reading a book, taking a walk, grabbing a bite to eat with friends, spending some quiet time alone, etc.

What will you do when TVpocalypse arrives?

Let's see...that's a Tuesday. So, reading, job-hunting, maybe even an errand or two.

Say, if this is TVpocalypse, do you think there'll be any TVpocalypse zombies roaming around? Maybe the viewers who lose their signal will become thus.

Maybe those without access to television will start on the path to becoming "unzombied." Others will wander the streets, vacant looks on their faces, clutching their useless remote controls.
