Brave New Gadgetry

The current issue of Christian Research Journal features two articles I authored: "Deepak Chopra's 'Enlightened' Jesus" (a review of The Third Jesus) and "Brave New Gadgetry: Technological Discernment and the Family."

Here are a couple of excerpts from the gadgetry article:

I find the phrase "Christianity in Crisis" to seem a little silly as a grabber statement. When hasn't it been?

Indeed, but there are times when historically Christianity has been in greater crisis than at other times. I think the phrase as used these days is primarily market-driven (i.e., it grabs interest -- or at least, that is the intent).
