In 2005 a 20th anniversary edition of Neil Postman's classic book Amusing Ourselves to Death was published. The new cover remains on current editions.
The original cover, however, shown at left, is iconic and in my assessment better portrays Postman's message. A headless family staring at a screen is more powerful than people with television heads (they look like microwaves, actually).
Maybe the original cover will come back for a 25th anniversary edition next year.
